New Haven

Memorial Baptist Church
205 Sunset Lane
New Haven, Mo., 63068
(573) 237-2154
Easter Sunday festivities for Memorial Baptist Church begin at 9:45 a.m. with a breakfast. A special choir performance starts at 10:40. After the service an Easter egg hunt will be held for the children. What a glorious time of year as we celebrate our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the time of year that we as Christians praise God for sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to be a ransom for our wages of sin, death totally separated from God. Jesus laid down his life, shedding His sinless blood on the cross of Calvary so that all who believe in their hearts and confess with their mouths can be saved. Wow!!! What an amazing gift! We do not deserve such a blessing, but God loved us so much that He gave the ultimate sacrifice for us. Let me also invite you to join us in this great celebration on Easter morning. We have much planned for Easter beginning at 9:45a.m. with an Easter Breakfast for all who would like to attend. The Easter Service with a special choir performance which will begin at 10:40 AM. Following our service there will be an Easter egg hunt for all the children. Come and celebrate Christ’s resurrection power that saves us Easter Morning. You will be glad you did, I promise you.
On March 22 we started a special class on Monday nights looking at the principles of freedom. This class is being taught by Jerry Breihan and it is based on the book called “The 5000 Year Leap.” This is not the video study but an eight week class looking at the awesome principles our country was founded on. You can purchase a copy of the book at a discounted price of $10.
We invite everyone to come and learn more about our history and how to protect our future. Each class has something new to learn and must not attend each week to gain knowledge and wisdom on this topic. Thank you parents, children and the MBC Family for another great season of Upward basketball. It was a great year with little to no trouble. God was glorified, people heard the gospel of Christ and some accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We are blessed and thankful and give all the credit to God for equipping us and giving us a spirit to work for Christ.
Don’t forget Parents, we will be registering for Upward Soccer starting May 10th. We are looking forward to another great soccer season starting the week of August 2nd. HE IS RISEN!!!! HE IS RISEN INDEED!!!!!
