Melinda Laboube Weds Jason Schmelz

Melinda Helen LaBoube, of Hermann, and Jason James Schmelz, St. Charles, were united in marriage on August 22, 2009 at St. George Catholic Church in Hermann, Mo.  Father William Debo officiated the ceremony. 

Bride’s parents are Gary and Carolyn LaBoube, Hermann.  Groom’s parents are David Schmelz and Denise Pohl, St. Charles. 

Serving as Maid of Honor was Lerin Dirks, Berger, bride’s friend.  Bridesmaids were Ashley Kelsey, Elizabeth Kelsey, Jayme Murphy, bride’s cousins all of Hermann, Sarah Pohl and Sally Pohl, Groom’s sister of St. Charles, Katie Albers, bride’s cousin of O’Fallon, and Whitney LaBoube, bride’s sister-in-law of Tomball Texas.  Serving as Candle lighter was Kinsey Shouse, bride’s cousin of Holts Summit. 

Junior Bride was Abbie Dennigmann and Flower Girl was Caroline Dennigmann, groom’s cousins of St. Charles. 

Best man was Jeff McDonnell, of St. Charles, groom’s friend.  Groomsmen were Dan LaBoube, bride’s sister of Tomball Texas, Eric Juden, Alan Juden, Josh Pfaff, and Brian Thole, groom’s friends of St. Charles, Loren Walden, groom’s friend of Fort Worth, Texas, Sean Durham, groom’s friend of Springfield, Mo. 

Junior groom was Jacob Dralle and Ring Bearer was Blake Dralle, cousins of bride, both of Washington. 

Ushers were the groom’s uncles, Greg Dennigmann and Brad Dennigmann, both of St. Charles. 

The couple took their honeymoon to Huntington Beach, California.
