Chili Cook-Off is on

Even though snow canceled many events in the area for Friday night, Saturday's chili cook-off is still scheduled as planned. Sponsored by Calvin's Distributing Company and the Hermann Knights of Columbus, the Super Bowl themed cook off will start at 12 p.m. and go until 8 p.m.

In addition to the cook-off, there will be music, games, gun raffles, contests, prizes and an auction. Proceeds will benefit Knights of Columbus charities, the Hermann Fire Department and the St. George Catholic grade school.

If you're not into chili, a 64 team washer tournament will also be going on at the Knights building, with sign up at 12 p.m. and play at 1 p.m. Cost is $10 per team and only open to the first 64 teams.
