St. Louis Working Women's Survival Show Scheduled For This Weekend
If you're looking for a 'staycation' this weekend, head to the 23rd annual St. Louis Working Women's Survival Show at the St. Charles Convention Center, located at the corner of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Fairgrounds Road in St. Charles.
With 350 exhibits, people are invited to attend a 'celebration of food, fashion, fitness and fun.' The event starts Friday morning and runs through Sunday evening and will have four stages with various speakers and workshops all weekends. Some of the workshops will cover topics such as job interviews, social networking, home organization, gardening, healthy cooking with kids and planning a magical Disney vacation.
Food Network chef Danny Boome, host of “The Rescue Chef”, will be a featured guest at this year's show.
Hours of the show are Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at Shop n' Save stores, online through the event's website or at the box office the day of the show; box office tickets do have a $1 surcharge added to the price.
