Berries and BarBQ Wine Trail at Röbller

The Berries and BarBQ Wine Trail is in full swing this weekend. Seven wineries in the New Haven to Hermann area are participating and the event is drawing visitors from far and near. It is sponsored by the Hermann Wine Trail.

Each location offers specialty pairings of food with wine. Röbller’s specialty this weekend is grilled shrimp on a bed of mixed greens, served with blackberry sauce and paired with Vidal Blanc.

The Wine Trail will continue until 5 p.m. Saturday, July 24, and will start again tomorrow, Sunday, July 25, running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets had to be purchased in advance and a drawing is being held for a one-night stay at a Hermann bed and breakfast, along with a $30 gift certificate from each winery.
