Hermann Man Arrested Over The Weekend

A Hermann man was arrested over the weekend after law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at his Hermann home. Chad Rulo, 24, of 1113 Market St., was arrested Saturday March 6 after officials with the Gasconade County Sheriff's Office, Hermann Police Department and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group recovered several medications for which Rulo did not have a prescription.

In the basement of the home, investigators found fentanyl patches, a bottle of liquid methadone, syringes and other narcotic paraphernalia. There were three other adults and three children at the home at the time of the arrest; no charges were filed against them.

Rulo was charged with attempted sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $35,000; Rulo was taken to the Crawford County Jail in Steelville following his arrest.

In a release, Gasconade County Sheriff Randy Esphorst said the case was the result of information gathered through public tips and an investigation.
