Cornhuskers Overwhelm Mizzou In Big 12 Tournament

by Jeff Stahlhut

KANSAS CITY – After trailing by double digits for most of the game and facing a 39-28 deficit at the half, the Missouri Tigers were never really a threat to the 12-seed Nebraska Cornhuskers on Wednesday in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament, eventually falling, 75-60.

The Tigers, who are now 22-10 overall, will now wait for this weekend’s NCAA tournament announcements, where it is presumed that thanks in large part to an RPI rating of 39, will get a bid to the dance.
