Despite political ads that have been flooding mailboxes, radio and television, Franklin County Clerk Debbie Door has predicted a voter turnout of 20 to 25 percent for the Primary election today.
With the temperature forecast to hit the 100 degree mark today, that might affect election turnout. We hope voters will get out and vote despite the heat.
With political fervor running high in many circles, it is hard to believe the turnout will be so low, but the polls will tell the story.
