Joseph Stepphon Pena of St. Clair, Mo., departed this life in Union, Mo. on Monday, March 8, 2010, having reached the age of thirty-five years, nine months and eleven days. Joseph was born in St. Louis, Mo., on May 25, 1974, son of John Joseph Pena and Sharon Kay (Nash)Pena. On September 24, 2008, he was united in marriage to Jennifer Renee(Johnson) Collins.

Marvin Walker of Washington passed away Monday, March 8, 2010.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Walker of Washington, two daughters; Kim Buschman and husband Alan of Washington; and Jill Brown and husband Matt of Edmund, Ok., four grandchildren; Matt and Alex Buschman, Abby and Mary Brown.

  Kathleen Gertrude Kangas of St. Clair, Mo, formerly Graylin, Mi., departed this life in Washington, Mo. on March 7, 2010 having reached the age of nintey two years, two months and seventeen days. Kathleen was born in Davidson, Saskatchewan, Canada on December 18, 1917. She was the daughter of William Arther Furby and Syble (Peterson) Furby. On August 14, 1937, she was united in marriage to Johnannes Nester Kangas and three children came to bless this union.

Anna M. Benz, 89, of Stony Hill, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Benz was born in Iron Mountain, Missouri on December 22, 1920, the daughter of the late Walter and Blanche Elizabeth (Snow) Nash.

She was the widow of Edgar August Benz. They were united in marriage on May 19, 1956 at Hernando, Missouri, he preceded her in death on September 10, 1985.

Lorainne G. (Massmann) Berghorn of Union passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010.

She is survived by daughters; Colleen Simons and husband Fletcher of Union and Sandy Bailey and husband Dennis of Union, three grandchildren; Sheila Robertson and husband Jim, Christy Simons, and Andy Simons and wife Beth, four great-grandchildren; Ashleigh, Zachary and Mariah Robertson, and Troy Simons.

Leona J. Vohs, 92, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri.

Mrs. Vohs was born in Hermann, on March 21, 1917, the daughter of the late Edward and Ella (Eikermann) Bickmeyer.

She was married to Victor Ruediger who preceded her in death on September 22, 1966. She then later married Harold Vohs. They were united in marriage on May 24, 1986, he preceded her in death on December 14, 1997.

Jessie Lea (Moore) Bush, 80, of St. Clair, MO passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 5:58 p.m. at St. Clair Nursing Center in St. Clair.

Mrs. Bush, daughter of the late Hillen Moore and wife Mabel was born September 20, 1929 in Oscar, Kentucky.

On January 1, 1949 she was united in marriage to Peter M. Bush in Cairo, Illinois.

Mrs. Bush was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Dr. Mary E. Waldron of Washington passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010

Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 10,2010 at 6P.M. at St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington.

She is survived by dear friends, Pat and Paige Byrene-Shortal.

In lieu of flowers, memorials requested to the St. Francis Borgia Grade School Library.
